Sigma Chapter

History

On June 1, 2004 a seed was planted that would become a beautiful white rose. The seed was blessed with plenty of wisdom that came before her. Tamika Truitt was born into Phi Nu Kappa sorority Inc. on July 9, 2005. She was then renamed Soror MissKommunicationz under the theme of Miss Education of Phi Nu. Her Colony was to be named Sigma and located in St. Louis , Mo. The search for other great women of quality still continues because quality comes before quantity any day. As the journey continued, MissKommunicationz continued to search for greatness.

In the Fall of 2006 another wonderful seed was planted in the garden of Sigma. Ramelle Ward was born into Phi Nu Kappa Sorority Inc. on March 31,2007 at 10:30 am. She is now and forever Soror MissTearious under the line theme Phi Nu's Hidden Treasure. She truly enraptures the essence of feminism....

As the two members continued to look for women of greatness. They planted a seed in the Fall of 2008 but were disappointed when it didn't bloom. However, they continued to nurture and love the seed because they had faith that she could bloom in the garden of Sigma . Suddenly on April 4, 2009 before their eyes, a flower began to bloom and it mesmerized them so... which is how at 2:50 pm Jasmane Boyd was born into Phi Nu Kappa Sorority Incorporated and was further known as Soror MissMeriZe under the theme Silent SeducKtion.

With the three of them together they continue to look for women of beauty, strength and grace, and have cultivated Sigma's garden into a beautiful paradise of diverse women.

Most recently, Sigma achieved Chapter status in January 2015, after the addition of 5 beautiful blooms that were eager to sprout.
