History

On May 17th, 2005, a motivated woman read through the Phi Nu Kappa website and one thought crossed her mind, "This is where I belong". Even though she was unable to start her journey immediately she stayed loyal to her future sisters and built bonds with other interests.

One day will forever be engrave in herstory as the day a trail was set ablaze in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that day is October 11, 2005. The life of this young lady with a passion that burned baby blue and lavendar was destined to flourish. Taking the lands of enlightenment by storm, she stood strong. When a fellow sister was in need or in distress she was there to remedy the problem or cure the ailment. Her growth into a Klassy and Kaptivating woman, who enraptures the Essence of Feminism, reached its climax on December 16, 2005 at 8:26pm. at that moment, she rose to the occasion and showed herself, worthy of Phi Nu Kappa's legacy.

In the Fall of 2005 Shatoya's light illuminated her path and she will forever glisten as

Crystal yearned to fellowship with women who shared her passion and zest for life and helping others through life. In this quest, she became aware of Phi Nu Kappa. On a cool fall evening in September, she began her journey to become a member of Phi Nu Kappa Sorority, Inc. There were some hard days, and harder nights, but the encouragement and support from Soror Q Ray-Tive and her line sisters carried her through.

Finally, her journey led her to St. Louis, MO where she had to prove herself worthy of membership into Phi Nu Kappa. The sands were hot and temptation was great, but on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 3:45 p.m., the Sorors of Phi Nu Kappa Sorority, Inc extended their hands and welcomed her into their sisterhood. From that day forward, Crystal will forever be known as
